Womens MMA Coach INDRA DAVIS Indra Davis is our Woman’s MMA Coach. She is wife to Coach Ben Davis.
Kickboxing Coach Toby Cunningham
A lifelong martial artist with a deep passion for both competition and coaching, Toby’s journey began in childhood, training Judo and Kickboxing alongside his, brother and close friends. His mother passed on a love of Judo and Martial arts leading the way with her own training, a little competing and her love of the sport. Martial Arts was always a family affair, from an early age, Toby thrived in competition, often finding himself facing off against his brother in finals, a dynamic that fueled his love for the sport and his drive to push himself further.
Now an active MMA competitor with aspirations of turning professional, Toby brings the same dedication and intensity to his coaching. His approach aligns with Shaolin’s ethos of inclusivity and personal growth. Having spent years refining his skills, even training through lockdowns in makeshift gyms, sharing expertise with other competitors and broadening his knowledge. He understands the power of perseverance and adaptability. He believes that Martial Arts is for everyone, whether you're a seasoned athlete, a complete beginner, or someone seeking confidence and mental resilience. His coaching style is open, supportive, and focused on helping each individual find their path, whether that’s mastering techniques, competing at the highest level, or simply becoming a stronger, more disciplined version of themselves.
For Toby, the most rewarding part of coaching is seeing his students step onto the mat, facing their fears, overcoming obstacles, and coming out proud of what they've achieved. He understands that fighting is as much a psychological battle as a physical one, and he takes pride in guiding his students through that journey. He’s not just shaping fighters, he’s helping people discover their potential, build confidence, and become part of a community that supports and uplifts one another. Whether you're here to compete, train, or grow, he’s ready to help you take that next step.
